At Attain our aim is to be a sustainable, inclusive, and ethically responsible organisation that
prioritises the wellbeing of our people, patients, communities, and the planet.

Achieving sustainability

We have already made significant progress in our ESG objectives, and to further achieve our aims we have established a dedicated social value programme and team to deliver our work plan over the next 12 months.

We are currently developing our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy that focuses on our clients, our company, and our people, which aims to:

  • reduce the impact on the environment from our services;
  • ensure that we have an inclusive community and a workforce that reflects society; and
  • ensure we strive to provide the best possible services to our clients and live up to our values in everything we do.

Carbon Reduction Plan

At Attain, we are committed to achieving NET Zero Emissions by 2050.

Our Carbon Reduction Planning Statement outlines our carbon reduction targets and ongoing initiatives, as well as measures we hope to implement in future such as:

  • Promoting and encouraging involvement in local environmental initiatives.
  • Exploring carbon offsetting.
  • Continuing to develop and build on collaborative ways of working with the supply chain through our internal sourcing/procurement efforts.
  • Exploring Values Team activities that support to reconnect people with the environment and increase awareness of ways to protect and enhance it.
  • Adopting an approach to review our business processes regularly so we can identify any areas that can be made more environmentally friendly and reduce their carbon impact on the environment.
  • Further educating and developing our people’s awareness through lunch and learn training sessions and regular company meeting updates on our progress to net zero.

Our support of Samaritans

Every year the Attain team have the opportunity to nominate a charity for the company to support through a variety of fundraising activities. For 2024, we voted for Samaritans, a charity who are dedicated to reducing feelings of isolation and disconnection that can lead to suicide by offering listening services and support to people and communities in times of need.
