On their first few months with Attain
Tell us a little bit about yourself
Before Joining Attain, I worked in a variety of data focused roles within the NHS, and then more recently Banking. During my time in the NHS, I worked within the Primary Care Team, and then as an Analyst within the Finance Team, at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge. I then shifted towards Banking, working as both an analyst and then an engineer for Lloyds Banking Group. A key focus of my work has been streamlining data pipelines, storytelling to influence data-driven decisions, and building custom tools to reduce person hours and improve work efficiency.
How have your first few months been at Attain?
My first few months have been fully enjoyable. The induction was very welcoming, meeting team members both in-person and virtually, but also impressively comprehensive, and was fully onboarded and settled in within a week or so. I was then quickly able to begin supporting other analysts within a range of projects, and ad-hoc tasks. I have now been in place on projects full-time the last 3 months, which have flown by!
What attracted you to Attain?
The values of the company, along with the variety of fast-paced project work, while consistently delivering results, with improvement of patient wellbeing at the forefront of all they do. I wanted to make the move back into healthcare from banking, and it was clear this was the ideal role and company to work for.
What’s the best thing about being employed with Attain?
Being surrounded by such a smart and supportive team!
What do you hope the future brings for you with Attain?
I hope to be able to make a valuable contribution in my upcoming projects this year and assist in delivering real change and improvement that benefits organisations, staff, and patients across the NHS. I am excited to build on my skillsets and further develop as a consultant.
