Hear from our people

On their first 30 days with Attain

Tell us a little bit about yourself

Originally from Aotearoa, New Zealand, I trained as a pharmacist and worked in hospital pharmacy for six years before moving into healthcare consulting. I’m particularly passionate about reducing health inequities, co-designing integrated health services, and making health systems work better for both the people delivering care and those receiving it.

How have your first 30 days been at Attain?

My first 30 days have been amazing. Everyone has been so lovely and welcoming, and I already feel like a fully integrated member of the Attain team. I’m really grateful to work alongside such talented people from all sorts of backgrounds, who share a strong passion and genuine drive to improve health outcomes for our communities.

What attracted you to Attain?

I was initially drawn to Attain because of its strong focus on people – our clients, patients, and our own team. I really align with the values here, especially the emphasis on collaboration and building lasting capability within organisations. It’s not just about delivering a solution – it’s about making sure it sticks and adds real value long after the project ends.

What’s the best thing about being employed with Attain?

Even early on, I’ve had the chance to work across a wide range of areas and projects – no two days are the same. I enjoy being able to draw on both my clinical background and consulting experience to add value in different ways, and I really appreciate how much learning and development is encouraged here.

What do you hope the future brings for you with Attain?

I’m hoping to be involved in projects that take on some of the biggest and most complex challenges facing the NHS – especially around health equity, service transformation, and innovation.
