On their first 30 days with Attain

Tell us a little bit about yourself

I’m a senior healthcare leader with 25 years’ experience leading system transformation, service reconfiguration, and operational improvements across international healthcare settings in the Middle East and New Zealand. I began my career in the NHS in critical care, which really shaped my belief that healthcare reform needs to stay grounded in the real experiences of patients and frontline teams.

Before recently returning to the UK, I worked for 4 years in a healthcare consultancy in Qatar, advancing national priorities such as integrated mental health and primary care reform and primary care preparedness for the FIFA World Cup 2022, and I managed large scale COVID 19 vaccination and testing programmes.

Outside of work, I enjoy trekking, mountain biking, and rediscovering the UK’s beautiful countryside.

How have your first 30 days been at Attain?

My first 30 days at Attain have been really positive. The onboarding and induction process has genuinely been the best I’ve experienced in my career! It was well structured, and I felt supported and welcomed by everyone from day one.

Attain also struck a great balance of support as I began my first assignment, giving me the space to get up to speed while already feeling trusted, included, and able to contribute. I even had the opportunity to join a company meeting before officially starting, and I came away feeling genuinely excited to be joining such a welcoming and inspiring group of professionals.
