On their first 30 days with Attain
Tell us a little bit about yourself
Previously I was programme and project manager with the NHS, most recently delivering COVID Hubs in North Central London. Prior to that my main areas of focus were in the reduction of GP admin burden and GP resilience, designing and delivering a range of workforce, training, and technology integration projects to accomplish this. When not working, I enjoy running, cycling, football and painting.
How have your first 30 days been at Attain?
My first 30 days have been great. I felt immediately welcomed and have been incredibly impressed by the comprehensive onboarding process in place during the pandemic. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the introductions to the team, learning about their varied experience and the passion they all share for healthcare. Having hit the ground running by being in place on a project within my first week, it has been a steep but satisfying learning curve, with the amazing thing being all my colleagues are readily available to answer any questions I might have.
What attracted you to Attain?
The values of Attain directly adhere to my own; I wanted to work in an environment with a genuine commitment to the NHS that delivers consistent results, ensures value for money and always has the improvement of the patient experience at the forefront of all they do. Plus, the chance to work with, and learn, from an incredibly smart, motivated and highly experienced team.
What’s the best thing about being employed with Attain?
The people. I’m constantly amazed by how the diverse skillsets create one homogenous unit. It has been proven time and time again in my first 30 days that Attain is a values led organisation, and this permeates through all employees into their work.
What do you hope the future brings for you with Attain?
I am currently at the beginning of my first project which will have a large impact across an ICP. I’m looking forward to adding value during this project as well as the variety of work to come. All the work that Attain is delivering is incredibly interesting and I’m sure the future will bring the opportunity to challenge myself further and contribute to a lasting impact upon the healthcare environment.
