Tell us a little bit about yourself

I joined the NHS in 2013 and have worked in a number of operational management roles in acute NHS hospitals over the last 10 years. During this time, I have developed a passion for delivering safe, effective and compassionate patient care, whilst ensuring a focus on staff engagement and wellbeing.

How have your first 30 days been at Attain?

I have had such a warm, friendly and positive welcome to Attain and have really enjoyed my first month here. It feels very exciting to be working alongside colleagues with such a depth and breadth of knowledge across the health service, and their commitment to making a positive impact on the NHS is clear. In addition to a comprehensive induction programme, I have already been involved in some really interesting pieces of work, from research on reducing health inequalities to developing a change management framework for building a new hospital.

What attracted you to Attain?

I wanted to join Attain because I felt it offered a brilliant opportunity to expand my experience by working across larger scale projects and with different NHS organisations, whilst keeping a strong focus on values and my commitment to improving patient care.

What’s the best thing about being employed with Attain?

I have been really impressed by Attain’s focus on its people and dedication to its values, which make it a positive and supportive place to work. Everyone has been so generous with their time and knowledge which has helped me to settle in quickly, and I already feel like part of the team.

What do you hope the future brings for you with Attain?

I am looking forward to getting more involved in project delivery, developing my skills and learning from my colleagues so that I can make a positive difference within Attain, and for patients and NHS partners.
