Attain is looking to recruit a Manager – Technical Sales, Decision Support Tool to join our team.

Attain is the largest independent health advisory and delivery organisation in the UK and often cited by staff as an inspiring place to work. We are seeking a talented individual who has experience of selling and supporting adoption/continuing use of analytical software products and the relationship building skills required to acquire and maintain clients. Attain has developed a Decision Support Tool which enables NHS Provider organisations to improve both their operational oversight and strategic planning of key patient-facing services. The DST achieves this by defining the service pathway and related workforce so enabling assessment of demand and capacity, including visible and hidden patient waiting numbers and times. The tool also provides Management Information, plus scenario planning functionality to aid service planning and business case development.

As a service delivery organisation, our staff work in a variety of locations all over England and as such you will need to be flexible with regards to travel and working away from home in response to customer requirements. During Covid lockdowns travel requirements have decreased to only when absolutely necessary and safe for our staff but we expect regular travel to resume when it is safe to do so.

Key Responsibilities:

The purpose of the role is to work alongside senior business development professionals and the product development team using your experience to acquire new clients for the DST service and build long-term strategic relationships.

The role will include:

  • becoming knowledgeable about the architecture, functions and use of the DST
  • describing the features and benefits to potential clients
  • conducting product demonstrations
  • supporting client adoption of the DST
  • growing service coverage within clients
  • providing continuing product support and a “help desk” style function
  • making a major contribution to the development of sales and marketing collateral
  • capturing client feedback and contributing to product development plans and testing

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate will have experience in supporting the sale of software and/or analytical tools which enable decision making through improved use of data and evidence. Experience of doing this in the health/life sciences sector would be an advantage.
