Jayshree Badhan reflects on her first 30 days at Attain

Tell us a little bit about yourself

I have been running my own marketing agency for the last four years, working directly with organisations from sectors including Retail, Public, Financial, Media and Publishing.  I developed campaigns that helped build brand awareness through PR, generated leads and revenue through email and social media and improved sales and marketing processes through CRM management. I frequently advised businesses and leadership groups on best marketing practice and regularly ran workshops on how to produce targeted marketing plans to support business development.

How have your first 30 days been at Attain?

30 days really has flown by! Almost from day one I was involved in key project planning, shaping of content and objectives. I even attended my first NHS Confederation event in Manchester, a flagship annual event for the sector, with an impressive Attain presence that I was proud to have been able to contribute to. I have been fully supported and welcomed by the whole team and couldn’t ask for a warmer welcome than the one I have received.

What attracted you to Attain?

They had me at the first hello. At first interview stage, I knew this was the company I wanted to be part of and make a difference within. I was asked about my values and was pleased to hear about the strong values that drive Attain’s vision and success. Having had first-hand experience in seeing the direct impact of people on a business, and I have quickly seen why everyone here is so driven and passionate! Attain invests in its people and strategy, which in turn delivers results outside the business.

What’s the best thing about being employed with Attain?

The scope of my role and the people. I’m very excited at the challenge of building the Attain brand and shouting about all the excellent work being done to make a difference to our NHS.

What’s really fantastic is that everyone shares my enthusiasm…and that feeling of being ‘one big team’ is very refreshing.

What do you hope the future brings for you with Attain?

I hope that my expertise and experience will bring to life the brand values embedded throughout the organisation – that while healthcare is a serious issue we also want our customers to know that we are not cold or impersonal. The Attain team are real people, easily approachable, always amenable and with a sense of humour that helps us deal with any situation.
